What is teeth whitening?

With a combination of the BleachBright products and our teeth whitener machine, the gel is able to penetrate the dentin, where the stains lie, and actually bleach them clear. This gives the white appearance of the teeth. Once all of the stains are removed, your pearly whites will show!

If you believe that you need to get your teeth professionally whitened at a dentist’s office with a whitening lamp to see real results, think again. With BleachBright’s innovative at-home and on-location products and services, you can get the brightest, whitest smile you have ever seen, and you can do it in the convenience of your own home if you want to. Our L.E.D. teeth whitening lights accelerate our carbamide peroxide gel to whiten teeth more efficiently and safely than any other at-home method available and they are just as effective as other, more expensive whitening methods you will see in many dentists’ offices. We also have battery operated take home LED lights as well as ones that plug in and are powered by your smartphone. All are easy to use and provide cumulative results for a long lasting, white smile.

Why do teeth stain?

No matter how well you take care of your teeth, they are going to get darker as you age. Some stains – from things like coffee, tea, soda, and dark-colored foods – develop relatively evenly over all of your teeth and tend to accumulate over time. Other stains – such as those developed from smoking cigarettes – develop as unattractive, uneven patches on your teeth. Your teeth can even grow darker in color due to side effects of certain medications and antibiotics.

Fortunately, you can battle any and all of these staining factors with BleachBright’s amazing whitening products. Why not try the most affordable, effective method available for brightening your smile today? Read on to find out more about how our products work and what they can do for you.

Teeth Whitening Gels

Pre-filled mouth trays

With this method, you will receive a pre-filled tray (which looks a lot like a mouth guard). It is filled with carbamide peroxide whitening gel and the customer places it into their mouth for about 15-20 minutes. The tooth whitening lamp does its job to help the gel penetrate into the pores of the teeth below the surface for a deep, long lasting whitening from within.

Zero-Peroxide

In many countries around the world, peroxide-based products are reserved for authorized and licensed professionals. For our customers in those countries and for those who prefer not to use peroxide-based products in general, we have developed a non-peroxide gel. It’s effective, gentle, and legal to purchase and use for anyone, anywhere in the world.

Remineralizing and enamel boosting gels

After whitening your teeth, you will want to protect and maintain them, right? We have specially formulated remineralizing and enamel-boosting gels to strengthen your teeth, protect against new stains, and improve your overall oral health. Our bluminerals™ formula seals the pores of your teeth to lock out stains and alleviate sensitivity, if you should happen to experience any, after you whiten your teeth with our L.E.D. Teeth Whitening Kits.

You can also boost enamel strength and prevent stains by regularly using our StarBright Dual Action Pen. Whiten with one end of the pen and then boost enamel and protect against new stains with the other.

Carbamide Peroxide vs Hydrogen Peroxide

Hydrogen Peroxide and Carbamide Peroxide are the two most commonly used active ingredients for whitening teeth. They both work to lift stains and lighten the shade of your teeth, but is one better than the other?

You are certainly already familiar with hydrogen peroxide, as it is often used as a disinfectant and antiseptic. It is not just good for cleaning cuts and scrapes, though. Hydrogen peroxide is extremely effective as a teeth whitening agent. Unfortunately, though, it does have the tendency to irritate the gums and tissue in the mouth, and it can cause tooth sensitivity if used incorrectly or in high concentrations without professional, medical supervision. It also needs to be refrigerated and turns to water very quickly needing application often. This is safer used in small dosages at lower concentrations and can be found in our home teeth whitening kits.

Carbamide peroxide, on the other hand, is created by combining hydrogen peroxide with urea, and is a much gentler whitener. There is a 3:1 ratio between carbamide and hydrogen peroxide. We have a photo initiator in our gel formula which gets it acting immediately with the teeth whitening light. It is a much more stable material and does not require refrigeration. It also has an extended shelf life unlike hydrogen peroxide. This is used in our in-salon teeth whitening kits.

We use the perfect combination below to bring you the best possible results, the safest and easiest way. Below are the strengths of gel used in each product. All of our gels contain the desensitizing ingredient potassium nitrate to block sensitivity. This goes for the in-salon as well as for the take home products.
